Old Colony Hospice Golf Classic V
August 21, 2007 at the Spring Valley Country ClubA sell-out crowd took part in
the 5th anniversary tournament to benefit Old Colony Hospice and help us
exceed our goal raising over $86,000. The weather was ideal for a great
day of golf. Complimentary cigars, a sampling of Russian Vodka and
caviar, and pictures with the New England Patriots Cheerleaders were
just a few of the fun activities golfers were able to enjoy. Golfer's
started the day with a barbecue lunch on the patio, took part in the
putting contest, tried to win the Acura TSX Hole-In-One or the
Taylor-made R7 Irons Hole-In-One, had a chance to win door prizes, fill
their goodie bags with lots of give-away items, buy raffles, and bid on
silent and live auction items. After the bramble, the golfers enjoyed a
delicious dinner at the awards ceremony banquet.
The support from corporate sponsors helped ensure our success with many
of their banners proudly displayed and with signs along the course
letting our participants know that they are friends of Old Colony
Hospice. Our thanks to all participants and sponsors.
