BEREAVEMENT SUPPORT
Bereavement Support may come in many forms. Our goal is to provide a connection that offers you both emotional support and necessary guidance. This will help you better understand the grieving process and ease your burden along the path of healing.- Pre-Bereavement Support: offered to the family members of an Old Colony Hospice patient in order to provide supportive interventions prior to death.
- Individual Counseling: Offers support in the privacy of a one-to-one session to talk with a licensed counselor.
- Group Counseling: Offers support within a small, informal group setting of adults coming together to share experiences, to listen to others' experiences, and to learn from each other. Facilitated by a licensed counselor. Six-week program and drop-in groups available.
- Special interest seminars: Offered throughout the year on varying topics.
Bereavement Support is provided free of charge for our patients' families. In addition, all of our support groups and counseling sessions are offered at no charge to the community.
Ongoing,
6-week groups offered days and evenings. Please contact Cathy Renz, MSW,
